Rye – Tips and Tricks

TV & Audio Upstairs

  • TV
    • Either Remote can be used to Power on
    • Switch between Chromecast(HDMI 4)  & Free to Air TV (TV) using ”Ínput buttons” (see here)
  • Chromecast
    • Turn on your Phone Hotspot and connect the chromecast to use Streaming Services
    • You will need your own Login for any of the streaming Services. Log out of all services when you are finished.
  • Audio
    • The Speaker under the TV is for Music Streaming.
    • Push the Blutetooth reciever Button to pair your phone
    • Power on the Speaker (buttons on side) , and ensure the bottom Button is Blue  (see here)

Small Fridge Under Bench (For Drinks)

  • When powered off, the door must be kept propped open so it doesn’t stink!
  • Please Disconnect power cord next to microwave when Checking out

Bins

  • Bin Day is Monday (Put them out Sunday Night or the day you leave if that is earlier)
  • Sort out the items appropriately. Keep Australia Green!
  • Bins must not be left on the nature strip after Pickup when that can be avoided.

Barbecue

  • Keep it clean, everyone else has to eat from it too…..
  • If the Bottle needs filling, there are places in RYE where you can swap the bottle.
    • Please keep reciept and we”ll credit you back

Bedding

  • You must provide your own linen.
    • Sheets
    • Pillow cases
    • Bring your Sleeping bag or use existing doonahs.
  • We arent able to wash the Doonah Covers after every stay so please do the right thing and always use a sheet.

Bathrooms 

  • BYO Towels / facewashers & Toiletries
  • Toilet paper is provided. Please let us know if we are running short.

Leaving

  • Use the Check Out checklist !
